Event announcement

Course
On May 31, participants can compete on a 10 km loop, the Frankfurter Runde along the river Main, running 1 to 4 laps. This allows each athlete to decide during the race how far they want to run.

Start / Finish
The start and finish are located below the Holbeinsteg (Sachsenhausen side) on the Frankfurt river Main, on “Germany’s most beautiful running loop.”

Start Procedure
Each participant will be assigned a race number and a specific time window depending on the total distance they selected during registration. Within this time window, they may access the event area and enter the pre-start zone. A new start block of participants begins every 10 minutes.

Participant shirt

Each participant will receive the official “Frankfurter Runden powered by Mainova” cotton T-shirt free of charge with registration.
Registrations completed by April 25, 2026 are guaranteed a participant shirt.


Timing

Timing is done using a transponder integrated into the race number. Timing services are provided by Datasport GmbH.


Change of registration

Registration changes can be made online for a fee of €5.
On-site changes during race material pickup cost €10 cash.

. Participation fees include VAT and are as follows:

  • Participants 1–250: €38

  • Participants 251–600: €44

  • Participants 601 and above: €49

Payment method: SEPA direct debit

Once the maximum number of participants is reached, registration will close. Eligible participants must meet the organizer’s criteria (link)
and must not be subject to any starting ban at the time of the race. Participants acknowledge the applicable national and international competition rules (IWR) of the IAAF or DLV, including anti-doping regulations. Registration of minors is only permitted by a legal guardian and requires written consent and a liability waiver.

Minimum age per distance:

  • 1 lap: 12 years (born 2014 or earlier)

  • 2 laps: 16 years (born 2010 or earlier)

  • 3 laps and above: 18 years (born 2008 or earlier)


Late registration, changes, or no-show

Participants registered by May 14, 2026 (12:00 p.m.) will receive a personalized race number. Online registration is possible until May 23, 2026 (8:00 p.m.), provided the total number of participants has not been reached.

Transfer of a race spot to a third party is not permitted.
No refunds will be issued for non-participation.

Scoring

Scoring will be done in an overall classification and within age categories.
On-site, the top 3 overall finishers across all four distances will be honored.


Competition rules

The international competition rules (IWR) of the IAAF or DLV, including anti-doping regulations, apply.


Photo release

Photos and video recordings will be made during the event and may be published in various media, including the website, print media, and social media channels. Participation constitutes consent to publication.
Explicit consent from participants is not required.
Participants who object to being photographed should inform the on-site contact person.
